The American Osteopathic Association states that manipulation “can help people of all ages and backgrounds; ease pain, promote healing, increase mobility; and is useful to treat muscle pain, asthma, sinus disorder, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines, and menstrual pain”. With the addition of therapeutic touch and Reiki even deeper levels of stress reduction can be expected as well as a positive effect on emotional well-being.
